This ‘about me’ part is the most difficult of all to write! Introverts like me do not like to talk or write about ourselves so when we come across these sections in social media, it’s an ordeal. As a typical introvert, I’m also very private so little in the way of information as to where I live, personal information would ever be revealed. Nor will there ever be a photo of me.
Why blog on introversion and high sensitivity? Both are very misunderstood, sometimes even by those of us who are introverted and/or highly sensitive people. By researching these, I’ve come to understand how to exist as an introvert in a extrovert obsessed world and perhaps this information can be useful to others. It would be ideal if at least a few extroverts might take the time to read and understand that introverts are capable of interaction with other human beings…we just do it differently!! One person (or a small group) for shorter periods of time, pretty please?

Thanks for the follow! I can certainly relate to your topic of introvertedness. I’m an INFP through and through. One thing about the internet I’m really grateful for is the opportunity for our voices to be expressed on an even playing field with extroverts.
Always lovely to hear from fellow introverts! The internet is a great place for introverts, we get heard which isn’t always easy to do in person: becoming invisible and muted in the presence of extroverts. Can only handle extroverts for short periods of time, they’re exhausting;)
