Formations fly, two vees silhouetted against a leaden sky, winging their way to warmer climes, according to flight plan scheduled by nature, primal instinct, geese programmed, heed the call when leaves turn then fall. This quatrain inspired by a glimpse from the bus window of two formations of Canada geese heading eastward. Migration time again...

Thank you my BFF! Metre still taking much longer than whipping out a haiku… a very different process. Need to actually sound out the words to determine exactly where the stress in the syllables are…yet it’s a very addictive process:)
